Using storytelling and art, the Experiencing Veterans & Artist Collaboration (EVAC) project bridges the gap between civilians and veterans by educating the public about military life. EVAC curators interviewed veterans about their experiences, and artists made an edition of prints based on their interpretation of those stories. The prints are exhibited with excerpts from the interviews. The exhibit will feature 15 pieces of the original artwork, including two based on the experiences of Vietnam Veteran, and Quad Cities Area native, Bill “Hawk” Albracht.

The exhibit will be open from December 14, 2019 - February 15, 2020. For information about accessing the Museum and the Rock Island Arsenal, please visit our website at
