On exhibit from December 7 through January 25, 2019, will be 90 works of art by 52 regional artists who were inspired by the exhibition, French Moderns: Monet to Matisse 1850-1950 currently on exhibit at the Figge Art Museum. The exhibit is a way to further engage the art community and to celebrate the Figge’s triumph in bringing a highly acclaimed group of masterpieces to the Quad Cities. With paintings hung salon-style, viewers will experience the art scene in France as it was in the eighteenth century.

The public is invited to meet the artists and enjoy complimentary food and beverages from 6-9pm on December 7 at Quad City Arts in Rock Island. This will be one of three stops for “Rock the Arts” (formally known as Gallery Hop.) Rock the Arts will continue on
Saturday, December 8th from 12-3.
