ICAN of the Quad Cities may be the place for you.
Join us for our next ICAN of the Quad Cities monthly meeting as we welcome Stephanie Taylor, BA, LMT presenting kinesio taping applications during pregnancy and postpartum. Taping applications shown will include taping for swollen ankles, belly band support, round ligament pain, and low back pain.
Bio: Stephanie Taylor BA, LMT has been a massage therapist since 2010. She... specializes in Russian Medical Massage and Kinesiology Taping. She attended Dominican University receiving a BA in Theatre Arts and Business Administration. She was class valedictorian at the Institute of Therapeutic Massage and Wellness and trained with the Kurashova Institute. She is a FMT certified practitioner through RockTape with training in Basic and Performance Taping, Movability and RockBlades. She runs her own private practice in Cambridge, IL and teaches Business for Massage Therapists at the Institute of Therapeutic Massage and Wellness in Davenport.
Meetings are intended as support for moms and their significant others recovering from a cesarean, planning a vaginal birth after a cesarean (VBAC), planning for cesarean birth after a cesarean (CBAC), acquiring information for the purpose of avoiding a primary (first) cesarean, birth trauma recovery, and so much more.
ICAN of the Quad Cities meetings may not be used for the purpose of networking by birthworkers, primary care providers, businesses, etc.
