Pre-registration required! This 3 part course is designed for beginners and those who have some experience. Introductory as well as 2nd, 3rd year strategies will be covered. People who have been beekeeping always gain from a refresher course and beginners always learn through questions and dialogue of those more experienced. The course will be taught by Tim Wilbanks, a fifth generation beekeeper and owner of Heritage Honeybee in Sullivan, WI. The introductory course in December will cover Bee Biology, Why Keep Bees, Apiary Start-Up, Seasonal Management, Honey and Wax Processing. The refresher course in February will cover Equipment Overview, Installing Packages or Nucleus Colonies, Seasonal Management and Honey Processing.

Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited. The fee for this 3-part course is $60 per person. A lunch will be provided. Pre-registration deadline is December 2nd. Previously we reached our maximum class size early so register soon!
