Sylvan Island Area: History, Recreation, and Sustainability is led by Dr. Norm Moline, Augustana College. Held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 9:00-10:30am. Explore the area near Sylvan Island to observe examples of Sustainable actions such as hydropower, the LEED-certified METRO building, water treatment, and adaptive use of Sylvan Island. Meet at: Sylvan Island bridge entrance, Moline, IL.
