The public is invited to The Chordbusters' 11th Annual Christmas Show on December 6, 2019 at 7pm. This year's show will take place at Bethel Wesley UMC Church (1201 13th Street, Moline). It’s a wonderful opportunity to hear great gospel music, as well as many of your Christmas favorites performed by a variety of acts.
This year’s show will feature performances by The Chordbusters, along with Hersong, The Quad Cities Women’s Chorus, Michael Callahan, the Christmas Festival Handbell Choir, and more.
The new venue, Bethel Wesley UMC, has absolutely fabulous acoustics and the sounds of the season will impress the audience.
This event is free and open to the public. The Chordbusters will be collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations for the ministries of Churches United of the Quad City Area.
The Chordbusters are a group of men who love to sing and harmonize in the barbershop style while entertaining audiences and putting smiles on the faces of fans. The Chordbuster Barbershop Chorus was formed in 1952 as the Davenport, Iowa Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS). The Chordbusters are one of over eight hundred chapters located throughout the United States and Canada.
Churches United of the Quad City Area began in 1961 and our mission is to serve the community, revitalize the Church, and celebrate Christian unity. Today, more than 140 churches are represented by Churches United. We operate three free hot meal sites, 25 emergency food pantries, a domestic violence shelter for women and children, and a resale shop to help fund the shelter. We dispense financial assistance to those who need help paying bills through our CareLINK program. We distribute over 2.1 million pounds of food annually, serving 140,000 individuals. Our meal sites serve 21,000 meals a year.
