Get ready to explore how birds, kites and planes fly in the Discovery Dome show “Flight Adventures!” Learn about the history and future of flight and how NASA is discovering new and safer ways to travel that might put YOU on the moon someday.

The Dome experience is fully immersive, and viewers are presented with visuals by a projector that displays images using an advanced two-mirror system. Everyone is able to partake in the Discovery Dome experience as the dome has a full-size stand-up door which guests can walk through; no crawling or shoe removal is necessary. The dome is also wheelchair accessible.

The Discover Dome is a mobile planetarium and therefore does not have permanent seating. There are some chairs available inside, but most seating is on the floor. Please ask for seating assistance if necessary.

“Flight Adventures” will play at 11 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.

Price: $4 for Discovery Dome by itself; $2.50 Discovery Dome add-on to exhibit admission.

To purchase tickets, visit the Putnam ticketing counter the day of the show.
