The Quad Cities tourism industry is one of the region's largest employers, with over 6,100 jobs in 2010. Tourists to the Quad Cities spent over $650 million on goods and services and brought in $11 million in direct tax revenue, making tourism one of the most essential industries in the area.

The QCCVB is the official tourism destination marketing and management organization that markets, sells, and promotes the Quad Cities region to leisure travelers, group tours, meetings, conventions, and sports tournaments. The organization plays an integral role in economic development with visitor expenditures and overnight stays. The QCCVB serves the tourism interests of Scott County in Iowa and Rock Island, Mercer, Warren, and Henderson Counties in Illinois.

The QCCVB increases visitor expenditures and overnight stays through strategic sales, marketing and services to our customers, members, and communities.
