Add to My Trip

The River Music Experience (RME) is a non-profit building on the Quad Cities' musical heritage by creating opportunities for our visitors and residents to listen, learn, and play music.

A major component of the RME is the Redstone Room, which is a premier live-music venue showcasing the best in national, regional, and local live music. Additionally, the organization houses visual displays and hours of multi-media content that illustrates the origin of American roots music and how it made its way up the Mississippi River and beyond. The RME is also home to a coffee house with a community stage and a great place to grab a bite to eat.

While at RME, be sure to take advantage of its inviting atmosphere and unique educational programs, including Rock Camp USA, audio-engineering classes in its Sound Lab, instrument and voice lessons, Community Drum Circle, or its popular Open Mic Night.
