Walnut Grove Pioneer Village
Featured in Midwest Living Magazine! Walnut Grove was a cross-roads settlement in the pioneer days of Scott County, in the 1860s. Today, the three-acre site includes more than eighteen historic buildings relocated from throughout rural Scott County. Free admission, donations appreciated.

Buffalo Bill Cody Boyhood Home
The boyhood home of Buffalo Bill Cody, government scout and wild west showman, is located in the broad valley of the Wapsipinicon River. The 1847 farmhouse, built by Buffalo Bill's father, is of native limestone and contains walnut floors and trim. The homestead has been restored and furnished with items typical of the mid-19th century.
