The newest addition of Western Illinois University is located on the banks of the Mississippi River and features state-of-the-art technology, teaching and learning environments. In fall 2012 the campus began Phase II of the riverfront campus which will support five interconnected buildings.

At WIU-Quad Cities you will be engaged in high-quality leaning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Western is one of 120 colleges and universities nationally recognized by the President's Honor Roll for the highest levels of distinction in community engagement. At WIU, you will apply what you have learned in different settings ranging from internships to volunteer activity to service learning.

WIU-Quad Cities offers more than 30 programs of study, 20 student organizations, and serves as the home to WQPT-Quad Cities Public Television. Over 95% of Western classes are taught by full-time faculty and students receive personal attention with a student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1. WIU-Quad Cities offers an impressive array of day, evening, weekend, and online classes and support services to best serve student needs.
