Team Tamo's Trivia for a Cure!This trivia night is being organized in honor of Tomas Sanchez, who lost his battle with ALS in 2009. ALS is often referred to as Lou Gehrig's disease, a progressive, degenerative disease affecting motor neurons. The average survival for someone after diagnosis with ALS is 3-5 years. The Les Turner ALS Foundation is one of the nation's largest independent ALS organizations, having raised nearly $45 million to fight this disease.

Join two-time Grammy-winner Laurence Juber for a workshop and performance in the Redstone Room presented by Ashford University. The workshop with Laurence Juber is from 6-7p.m. in the Redstone Room and is free for ticket holders to the evening performance and RME Members. The cost to attend the workshop without a ticket is $7.
Fusing folk, jazz,and pop styles, two-time Grammy-winner Laurence Juber creates a multifaceted performance that belies the use of only one acoustic guitar. The lead guitarist for Paul McCartney's Wings (with whom he earned a Grammy award), Juber is a world-renowned guitar virtuoso, composer and arranger.
He has released 19 acclaimed solo albums. His solo arrangement of The Pink Panther earned him a second Grammy. Pop Goes Guitar includes his arrangement of Stand By Me that was heard nationally in a 'Diamonds Are Forever' commercial. His last CD is a Vol 2 follow-up to LJ Plays The Beatles, which is one of Acoustic Guitar Magazine's' all-time Top Ten acoustic albums. His latest release is his original soundtrack to the NBC Dateline documentary Children of the Harvest.
He is featured on the CD Poppin' Guitars, a tribute to the music of the Sherman Brothers, and can be seen in the documentary film, The Brothers, about those celebrated Disney composers.
As a studio musician, he can be heard on recent albums from artists as diverse as Dan Hicks & the Hot Licks and Barry Manilow, plus he is featured on the soundtracks to hundreds of TV shows and movies including the academy award-winning Good Will Hunting and the current Muppet Movie. He is featured on the score to ABC Family channel's hit show The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
As a composer, Juber has contributed the soundtrack of the upcoming Activision/Blizzard Entertainment video game Diablo III. His music is also featured in the Ken Burns documentary The Tenth Inning. With his wife Hope Juber, he has composed the scores to the musical comedies Gilligan's Island: The Musical, A Very Brady Musical and It's The Housewives!

Ashley Raines grew up in the Midwest and began running away from home almost as early as he could walk. By the age of fourteen he was hitchhiking from his home in Kansas to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He hopped boxcars and taught himself any instrument he could get his hands on, recording his songs on four-track reel-to-reel machines which he sold while performing on the street. Raines has released seven studio and one live album(s).
