QC, That's Where the American Discovery Trail and Great River Trail Collide!

Grab your bicycle and start exploring the place where major trails collide! The Quad Cities is home to gorgeous Mississippi River views and hundreds of miles of trail systems. The Quad Cities is a portion of the coast-to-coast American Discovery Trail, which spans 6,800 miles across the country. It's also part of the Great River Trail, covering more than 60 miles of Central and Northern Illinois.

Trail systems cover both sides of our community along the Mississippi River. Duck Creek Bike Trail, The Hennepin Canal Parkway, The RiverWay Trial, and the Mississippi River Trail are just a few.

This bike-friendly region hosts opportunities to adventure in any style. Mountain biking at parks like Sunderbruch, Illiniwek, and Sylvan Island will challenge you with courses that include single-tracks with bridges, curved wooden berms, and other technical features, offering uninterrupted pedaling past spectacular scenery.  We're home to the The Midwest Premier Gravel Series and the Frozen Fat Fondo Fest.

For more casual riders, there's no better way to explore the beautiful landscape, panoramic river views, wooded trails, prairie areas, and the unique towns and cities that call the banks of the Mississippi River home.
